What local drivers should watch
AAA’s Oct. 26 national averages were $4.2858 for regular and $6.3492 for diesel, below the Sheboygan metro figures. These metro averages are benchmarks, not prices at every station; individual pump prices can vary.
The figures can help households plan fuel budgets for commutes and school runs. Diesel staying above $6 a gallon is also a useful budgeting reference for contractors, delivery drivers, farmers and other diesel-dependent work. Restaurants, small businesses and event visitors may factor fuel into their planning, but these averages do not show what any particular business or driver pays.
