Meet Brian Bateman, a website developer with 30 years of experience and a resident of Sheboygan County. Growing up in Cascade, Wisconsin, Brian spent his youth enjoying the great outdoors, from snowmobiling, go-karting and horseback riding to spending summers on the family’s 5-acre property, Lake Ellen and the surrounding woods and trails. Not content to simply sit back and enjoy the land, Brian took it upon himself to plant fruit trees and transform the property into a wooded lot, a task he took on with the help of his grandparents who owned an adjoining 5-acre piece of land. Brian’s love for the community and desire to give back led him to create SheboyganLife.com, a social platform dedicated to all things Sheboygan. The site is completely free to join and use, and features contributions from locals, making it a one-stop-shop for all the latest happenings in the area. Before starting SheboyganLife.com, Brian attended Riverview Middle School and Plymouth High School in Plymouth, Wisconsin, just west of Sheboygan. As a teenager, he moved to Sheboygan and attended South High School before going on to the UW Center in Sheboygan to study programming. After completing his education, Brian moved around the state of Wisconsin, but has always found his way back to Sheboygan. He most recently resided in Cedarburg with his beloved Border Collies: Moses Pray, Cleo, and her seven healthy puppies. three of the pups found good forever homes. With the help of a special permit, Brian is able to keep Moses Pray, Cleo, Faceman, Ginger, Sisko and Dot in Sheboygan and even purchased a home for them along with the empty lot next to it, fenced it all in, so that the dogs could have a large yard to play. In addition to providing information on local events and happenings, Brian plans to add live video feeds of car clubs and boats as they drive by on Indiana Avenue during the season’s events, as well as live feeds of his Border Collies playing in their yard. He believes Sheboygan is a well-run city and has always been a great place to live and he wants to give back to his community through SheboyganLife.com. Overall, Brian Bateman is a dedicated resident of Sheboygan County who is passionate about his community and has used his skills, experience, and love to create a valuable resource for locals and visitors alike. With SheboyganLife.com, he hopes to entertain and inform the community and keep the residents and visitors connected.
