Sheboygan Startup Louis Structures Wins Wisconsin Pitch Contest
Sheboygan, Wis. — Oct. 23, 2026
Sheboygan-based Louis Structures LLC won first place at the Wisconsin Startup World Cup regional pitch contest and qualified for the global finals in San Francisco. The contest was held Oct. 19 at the Weill Center in the City of Sheboygan.
The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation announced the result Oct. 21, naming Benjamin Louis Horvat as the company’s representative. WHBL reported Oct. 22 that the first-place prize was $2,000.
Regional win leads to global finals
The win qualifies Louis Structures to compete at the Startup World Cup Global Finals, where the overall winner will have the opportunity to compete for a $1 million investment prize, according to the SCEDC announcement. That potential prize is separate from the $2,000 regional award reported by WHBL; Louis Structures has not won the global-finals prize.
The result marks a local entrepreneurship milestone, but the available reports do not establish that the company has secured investment, created jobs, or begun a commercial rollout.
