Sheboygan Gas and Diesel Prices Ease Since Oct. 16; Regular Near $4.20
AAA’s October 19, 2026, Sheboygan metro averages put regular gas at $4.2067 per gallon and diesel at $6.2945. Both prices eased since the October 16 check, though each remains higher than a week ago.
What changed at the pump
Regular gas is down 5.89 cents per gallon since the last Sheboygan Life check, when the metro average was $4.2656. Diesel fell 4.90 cents from $6.3435. Compared with AAA’s week-ago figures, however, regular is up 12.34 cents and diesel is up 3.47 cents per gallon.
AAA’s October 19 Wisconsin averages were $4.1994 for regular and $6.1857 for diesel. Sheboygan’s regular average was close to the state figure and below AAA’s $4.2953 national regular average; the Sheboygan metro diesel average was above Wisconsin’s. Metro, state and national averages are not prices at every station.
Regional context and local budgets
The U.S. Energy Information Administration’s October 14 update reported October 12 Midwest averages of $4.145 for regular gasoline and $6.259 for on-highway diesel. Those are broader, earlier regional benchmarks—not current Sheboygan pump prices.
For commuters, school runs and household fill-ups, checking nearby stations may help with routine fuel budgeting. Diesel remains above $6.29 in the metro average, a figure contractors, delivery drivers, farmers and other diesel-dependent workers may want to keep in mind when planning fuel needs. Restaurants, small businesses and event visitors can also check local station prices before travel or fuel-dependent work; the averages do not establish specific local cost changes.
