Road America to Host Great American RC Crawl August 7-9 Near Plymouth

Road America will host the three-day Great American RC Crawl from Friday, August 7, through Sunday, August 9, at the Briggs & Stratton Motorplex near Plymouth. The event offers Sheboygan County families, hobbyists and visitors a weekend activity centered on radio-controlled vehicles rather than full-size racing.
What is planned
Road America lists several vehicle categories, including 1/10th-, 1/18th-, 1/24th- and 1/30th-scale vehicles. The weekend also includes 1/10th-scale and micro competitions, along with vendors offering RC products.
Registration, practice and technical inspection are scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. each day. Technical inspection runs from 8 a.m. to noon, while competitions are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Registration closes at 5 p.m.
Sunday is listed for additional event activity, practice and inspection. Road America’s published schedule does not list a Sunday competition start time.
Admission and camping
Daily admission is $20, and a weekend pass is $40. Competition access is listed at $10. Children age 12 and under are admitted free with a paying adult.
Weekend camping is available for Friday and Saturday nights at a listed cost of $100. The official ticketing information describes the option as a non-electric 20-by-40-foot campsite for up to six people.

Families can attend for one day or the full weekend, with free admission for children 12 and under when accompanied by a paying adult.
