Lakeshore College Announces Board of Trustees Appointments for 2026 Term
Cleveland, WI – March 30, 2026 — Lakeshore College has announced the reappointment of Don Pohlman and John Wyatt, along with the appointment of Ryan Neville, to its District Board of Trustees. Their three-year terms will begin July 1, 2026, and run through June 30, 2029.
The Lakeshore College Board of Trustees is composed of nine members representing a mix of employers, employees, elected officials, school district administrators, and community members. Each year, three trustees are appointed by a committee made up of county board chairs from Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Calumet, and Ozaukee counties.

Don Pohlman, Mayor of Plymouth, brings decades of civic involvement and leadership to the board. He holds a degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Concordia University and served as a U.S. Army medic during the Vietnam era. Pohlman has long been active in local organizations, including the VFW, American Legion, and Plymouth Rotary Club. He currently serves as board secretary/treasurer and previously held the role of board chair.

John Wyatt, who is retired from Kohler Company after a 30-year career, also returns to the board. His background includes leadership roles in infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity, with more than 40 years of experience in engineering and information technology. Wyatt holds multiple degrees, including an MBA, and remains active in the Plymouth community through church leadership and local government involvement. He previously served as board chair and continues to support Lakeshore College through advisory roles.

Ryan Neville joins the board as a new appointee. He currently serves as President and CEO of Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Sponsored Ministries in Manitowoc. Neville brings extensive healthcare leadership experience, having previously held executive roles with Froedtert–ThedaCare Health, Marshfield Clinic Health System, and Memorial Medical Center. He holds an MBA and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Neville will step down from the Lakeshore College Foundation Board before beginning his new role.
Neville fills the seat of Kim Rooney, who is concluding nine years of service on the board. During her tenure, Rooney played a key role in the college’s rebranding to Lakeshore College and contributed to its successful reaffirmation with the Higher Learning Commission in 2024.
