Bookworm Gardens Plans The Lorax Family Day in Sheboygan for August 15

Bookworm Gardens is scheduled to welcome families for Family Fun: The Lorax from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, August 15, at 1415 Campus Drive in the City of Sheboygan.
The day will combine children’s programming with hands-on opportunities to explore nature and stewardship. Families can visit a Lorax garden, take part in Lorax-themed educational activities and enjoy storytime in the Magic Tree House.

Bookworm Gardens also plans interactive activities focused on caring for the natural world. The programming connects the themes of The Lorax with practical lessons about plants, habitats and environmental responsibility.
Garden access is included with admission. Light concessions will be available for purchase, giving families an option to make the event part of a longer Saturday outing.

Public admission is $15 for adults and $13 for children ages 3 through 17. Bookworm Gardens members pay $10 for adults and $8 for children. Children age 2 and younger may attend free.
