Sheboygan County, WI — August 29, 2026. The National Weather Service is listing a moderate swim risk for Sheboygan County beaches Saturday night, August 29, and Sunday, August 30.
The forecast applies to Deland Park Beach in Sheboygan and the beaches at Kohler-Andrae State Park. The NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan Surf Zone Forecast, issued at 4:42 p.m. CDT Saturday, said waves may reach up to 3 feet, with breaking waves and currents expected.
Swimmers and shoreline visitors should use extra care during the forecast period, especially near piers, breakwalls and river outlets, where water conditions can change quickly.

What beach visitors should know
The NWS Hazardous Weather Outlook, issued at 1:43 p.m. CDT Saturday, advised people to stay away from piers, breakwalls and river outlets during the moderate-risk period.
Swimmers should have a flotation device with them in the water and should reconsider swimming if waves or currents increase. Families visiting Deland Park Beach or Kohler-Andrae State Park should check the latest beach and weather conditions before leaving and again before entering the water.
The moderate swim risk is forecast for Saturday night, August 29, and Sunday, August 30. Visitors should follow posted beach guidance and leave the water if conditions worsen.
