Sheboygan Film Festival Opens With John Candy Tribute at the Weill Center

The curtain rises on Sheboygan’s first-ever Film Festival with the opening night screening of John Candy: I Like Me. This heartfelt documentary celebrates the life of one of comedy’s most beloved stars, showcasing his rise from Canadian sketch shows to Hollywood classics like Uncle Buck, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, and Cool Runnings.
The Weill Center, Sheboygan’s historic 1928 theater, provides a fitting backdrop for the launch of a festival designed to bring world-class cinema and community connection together.
