Two STC Theatre Workshops Coming December 20 in Sheboygan
The Sheboygan Theatre Company is hosting two dynamic workshops on Saturday, December 20, designed to help young performers and adults strengthen their stage presence, confidence, and audition techniques. Both sessions take place at 3330 Stahl Road in Sheboygan and are led by Wisconsin performer and director Doug Clemons.
Strong Voices, Strong Choices (Ages 11–15)
10:30 AM to 12:00 PM
This youth workshop helps students explore expressive storytelling, learn how to project with confidence, and use their voices and movement to bring characters to life. Through fun, active theatre exercises and short scripts, participants build skills while having a great time. The workshop fee is $20.
Freedom with a Frame: Acting Techniques for Live and Virtual Auditions (Ages 16+)
12:30 PM to 2:00 PM
This session guides adults through adapting to live, virtual, or self-taped audition environments. Participants learn how to read a room, work within any space, and deliver effective performances under real-world conditions. The workshop fee is $30.
Doug Clemons brings extensive professional experience in theatre, opera, and musical performance, having performed and directed across Wisconsin and beyond.
