I-43 resurfacing project starts March 2: WisDOT’s I-43 resurfacing in Sheboygan County is set to begin March 2 on roughly 10 miles between Wilson/Lima Road (Town of Wilson) and WIS 42 (Town of Sheboygan). WisDOT notes the interstate will generally be open to one lane in portions of the work zone, with multiple on- and off-ramps in the project area closing at various times. Completion is currently listed as late October 2026. For Town of Rhine residents commuting toward Sheboygan, I-43 access and ramp closure timing could affect trip planning.
