Public hearing set for March 9
The Town of Lima has posted a notice for a public hearing on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lima Town Hall (N3689 County Road I, Sheboygan Falls). The hearing is to take public comment on proposed Municipal Code amendments, including changes related to mandatory recycling/solid waste separation and updates to fees and charges. I-43 resurfacing starts March 2 near Wilson/Lima Road
WisDOT’s project page says construction is scheduled to begin Monday, March 2 on about 10 miles of I-43 from Wilson/Lima Road (Town of Wilson) to WIS 42 (Town of Sheboygan). The project is expected to run into late October 2026. Drivers should plan for one-lane traffic in parts of the work zone and for ramp closures at various times during the project.

Sheboygan County is seeking a registered nurse or physician to serve on the Health & Human Services Committee for a three-year term.
