Sheboygan Chamber Opens Registration for September Workforce Symposium

Registration is open for the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce’s Workforce Development Symposium, scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, at Pine Hills Country Club in Sheboygan.
Workforce event set for September 16
The symposium will run from 7:30 to 11 a.m. at Pine Hills Country Club, 4914 Superior Ave., Sheboygan. The Chamber says the program is designed for business owners and executives, human-resources professionals, K-12 and post-secondary educators, school counselors and community leaders.
The morning will focus on workforce-development issues affecting employers, schools and the broader Sheboygan County community. It is intended as a discussion and learning opportunity for local employers, educators and community partners, rather than a job fair.
Speakers include business, education and workforce leaders
Listed speakers include Sam Rikkers of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation; Ryan Long of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development; Sheboygan South High School Principal Kevin Formolo; Sargento workforce leader Anne Troka; and UW-Madison business professor Russell Coff.
The Chamber’s workforce-development work brings together business, education, government and community partners. Its Make Your Mark program also focuses on employer connections, talent attraction and relocation assistance in the Sheboygan County area.
Registration includes breakfast
Registration costs $50 for Chamber members and $100 for nonmembers. Breakfast is included with registration.
Those planning to attend should note the Chamber’s cancellation policy: cancellations or refunds are not available after September 8.
The 2026 Golden Apple workforce-development awards will also be presented during the symposium. Independent local reporting previously confirmed that the awards presentation is part of the September 16 program at Pine Hills Country Club in Sheboygan County.
