Sheboygan Regular Gas Rises 12 Cents Since Oct. 19; Diesel Holds Near $6.30
Sheboygan, Wis. — Friday, Oct. 23, 2026
Regular gas in the Sheboygan metro rose nearly 12 cents per gallon since the Oct. 19 Sheboygan Life fuel-price check, while diesel was essentially unchanged near $6.30. AAA’s Oct. 23 averages were $4.3258 for regular and $6.2953 for diesel.
Regular gas is up; diesel is nearly flat
Since Oct. 19, the regular-gas average increased 11.91 cents, from $4.2067. Diesel changed by just 0.08 cent, from $6.2945. Compared with a week earlier, regular was up 6.02 cents, while diesel was down 4.82 cents.
Both averages were below AAA’s month-ago figures: $4.4084 for regular and $6.6110 for diesel. They remained well above the year-ago averages of $2.8817 and $3.3230, respectively.
How Sheboygan compares
AAA’s Oct. 23 Wisconsin averages were $4.3254 for regular and $6.2159 for diesel. For broader context, the U.S. Energy Information Administration’s Oct. 20 release listed weekly national averages for the week of Oct. 19 at $4.284 for regular gasoline and $6.276 for on-highway diesel. Those are statewide and national comparisons—not Sheboygan pump prices.
AAA’s Sheboygan figures are metro averages, not a survey of every station, so prices at individual pumps can differ. They can still help commuters, school-run households and weekend visitors plan fuel budgets. Contractors, delivery drivers, farmers, restaurants and other small businesses may also use the separate gas and diesel trends as a budgeting reference; the averages do not establish what any particular local business is paying.
