Sheboygan District 7 Applicants Have Until Oct. 29; Council Vote Set for Nov. 2
Sheboygan, Wis. — October 21, 2026
People interested in filling the City of Sheboygan’s District 7 council vacancy have until noon Thursday, October 29, to submit a letter of interest to the City Clerk. The Common Council is scheduled to act on filling the seat at its Monday, November 2, meeting, listed for 6 p.m.
How the seat will be filled
This is a council appointment, not a public election. WHBL reports that the successor will be selected by a majority vote of the remaining Common Council members.
The October 19 council agenda lists the City Clerk’s Office at 828 Center Avenue in Sheboygan and gives the phone number 920-459-3361. The agenda does not specify how letters must be delivered, so prospective applicants should contact the Clerk’s Office to confirm submission details.
Sheboygan Life reported on the District 7 vacancy on October 9. The newly posted deadline and scheduled council action give interested applicants and residents the next dates to watch.
