Sheboygan District 7 Seat Vacant After Perrella Resignation
Sheboygan, Wis., October 9, 2026. The City of Sheboygan’s District 7 Common Council seat became vacant when Alderperson Grazia Perrella’s resignation took effect October 6.
The October 5 Council agenda listed Perrella’s resignation from District 7, effective the following day. WHBL reported that she stepped down during the October 5 meeting. District 7 represents Wards 13 and 14, according to the City’s council directory.
How the vacancy is filled
Section 2-203 of the Sheboygan Municipal Code says an alderperson vacancy is filled by appointment by the Common Council, except as provided under Wisconsin Statute 17.23.
