Attempted Robbery Contained at UnitedOne Credit Union’s Superior Avenue Branch in Sheboygan

UnitedOne Credit Union reported an attempted robbery today at its Superior Avenue branch in Sheboygan. According to a statement released by the credit union, multiple individuals targeted on-site vendors who were servicing the PTM machine at the location.
The situation was described as “quickly contained,” and UnitedOne confirmed that law enforcement responded promptly and remains on-site conducting a full investigation.
“The branch is open, police are investigating, and it is safe for members to visit. The safety of our staff and members is our top priority. We will keep you informed as we know more,” the statement read.
Authorities have not yet released details about the suspects or whether any arrests have been made. As of this afternoon, the Superior Avenue branch remains open for normal operations, with officers maintaining a presence while evidence is gathered and interviews are conducted.
Police have not indicated that there is any ongoing threat to the public. UnitedOne emphasized that both its staff and members are safe, and that the security response was immediate.
