Town of Holland Sets Nov. 4 Hearing on Its 2027 Budget
The Town of Holland will hold a public hearing on its proposed 2027 budget at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Holland Town Hall, W3005 County Road G, Cedar Grove, WI 53013. A special town elector meeting and the regular November Town Board meeting are scheduled to follow.
The Town’s budget notice, dated Oct. 19, lists proposed expenses and revenues of $1,816,145 each. Both totals are 3.1% higher than the 2026 budget.
What the proposal says about property-tax revenue
The proposed budget lists $811,980 in general property-tax revenue, compared with $803,695 in 2026, a 1% increase in that budget line. That figure does not mean an individual property-tax bill or the tax rate will rise by 1%.
The special town elector meeting is scheduled immediately after the hearing. Its stated purposes include approving the 2026 town tax levy payable in 2027, setting compensation for elected town officers, and setting an hourly wage for elected officers who serve as town employees.
November board meeting moved to Nov. 4
The regular November Town Board meeting will take place after the elector meeting on Nov. 4. The Town says there will be no board meeting on Nov. 9. Residents planning to attend should note the date and meeting order.
The notice identifies the jurisdiction as the Town of Holland, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, and gives Holland Town Hall’s address as W3005 County Road G in Cedar Grove.
