Monday, July 6: Sheboygan gas ticks up while diesel eases again
Sheboygan, WI — July 6, 2026.
AAA’s latest Sheboygan metro price check shows regular gas at $3.485 and diesel at $4.663 as of July 6, 2026. Regular gas ticked up slightly from the last check, while diesel eased again and stayed just under $4.70.
What changed at the pump
Regular gas moved from $3.476 on July 3 to $3.485 on July 6. That is a very small increase, but it is still lower than a week ago, a month ago, and a year ago.
Regular gas: still below state and national averages
AAA lists Wisconsin’s average regular price at $3.561 and the U.S. average at $3.797. That keeps Sheboygan gas cheaper than both benchmarks for commuters, school runs, errands, and weekend travel.
Diesel: easing again and still the bigger watch item
Diesel fell from $4.700 on July 3 to $4.663 on July 6. It is also below last week and last month, but still above the year-ago level. For contractors, delivery drivers, farmers, restaurants, and other higher-mileage users, that near-$4.70 line still matters when weekly fuel bills add up.
AAA puts Wisconsin diesel at $4.587 and the U.S. average at $4.668, so Sheboygan diesel is running a little above the state average and just under the national figure.
EIA’s latest weekly gasoline and diesel update was released June 30, with the next release due July 7. The federal data show both products easing week over week, which matches the softer tone at the pump here in Sheboygan.
What local drivers should watch next
A move this small can still change the math for daily commuting, summer road trips, service routes, and fleet planning. If regular gas keeps drifting lower, households get a little more room in the weekly budget. If diesel keeps hovering near $4.70, work trucks and farm use stay the bigger planning item.
