Lakeshore College to Host Manufacturing, Agriculture and Automotive Career Showcase April 8
CLEVELAND, Wis. — Lakeshore College will host a Career Showcase Open House focused on manufacturing, agriculture and automotive programs on Tuesday, April 8, from 2 to 7 p.m. on its Cleveland campus at 1290 North Avenue. The event will begin in the Nierode Building, with guests asked to enter through the main entrance.
The open house is designed for prospective students interested in career paths connected to agribusiness science and technology, CNC automation, electro-mechanical automation, HVAC, manufacturing engineering technology, welding, and related fields. Instructors will be on hand to talk about available programs and answer questions.
Visitors can expect a mix of demonstrations, activities and tours throughout the event. According to Lakeshore College, planned activities include machinery demonstrations, hands-on engineering technology activities, animal and soil science activities, robotic automation demonstrations, and facility tours.
College staff will also be available to help attendees learn more about academics, enrollment, financial aid, personal support resources, and credit for prior learning. Registration is requested, but not required. More information is available through Lakeshore College’s program showcases page.
Lakeshore College, formerly known as Lakeshore Technical College, says it serves more than 9,000 students annually and offers learning opportunities on its Cleveland campus as well as locations in downtown Manitowoc and Sheboygan.
