Sheboygan Families Can Register for 2026-27 KidStop Care
Sheboygan, WI — August 15, 2026. Sheboygan Area School District families can now register online for 2026-27 KidStop before- and after-school care through SASD Community Recreation.
The program is designed to help families cover school-day mornings and afternoons during the workweek. The 2026-27 school year begins Tuesday, September 1, so families should complete registration and select their expected care dates before the school year starts.
Eight Sheboygan elementary schools participate
KidStop is available at Cleveland, Étude, Grant, Jackson, James Madison, Lincoln-Erdman, Pigeon River and Wilson elementary schools in Sheboygan.
Eligibility is generally for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Cleveland and Lincoln-Erdman list eligibility from 4K through fifth grade. Care hours vary by school, so families should review the location-specific information during registration.
What KidStop costs
Families pay a $20 enrollment fee per child at preregistration. Weekly care rates are $21 for one to three selected mornings or afternoons, or $35 for four to five selected mornings or afternoons.
The rates apply separately to morning or afternoon schedules. Families should estimate their weekly cost based on the number of mornings or afternoons they select for care.
Information families need to provide
Registration is not complete until families submit the required health history, emergency information, authorized-pickup details and attendance calendar.
SASD Community Recreation also advises families to select all expected school-year mornings and afternoons. Dates that are not selected will not enroll a child for KidStop care.
Families can begin through the SASD Community Recreation KidStop registration page. The program is operated through the district’s Community Recreation department at 3330 Stahl Road in Sheboygan.
