Small Craft Advisory Extended Through Noon Thursday, Nov. 5, Near Sheboygan
Sheboygan, WI — November 4, 2026
The National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan issued an update at 3:16 a.m. CST Wednesday, Nov. 4, extending a Small Craft Advisory through noon CST Thursday, Nov. 5, for Lake Michigan nearshore waters from Sheboygan to Winthrop Harbor, including the Sheboygan-to-Port Washington zone.
Advisory applies to Lake Michigan waters
The NWS forecasts southwest winds of 15 to 20 knots, gusts up to 25 knots and waves of 4 to 6 feet. Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. The service advises inexperienced mariners, especially operators of smaller vessels, to avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
This advisory covers the listed Lake Michigan waters, not inland Sheboygan County. Boaters should check the latest NWS marine alert before departure.
The noon Thursday expiration is a material change from Sheboygan Life’s Nov. 1 report, which listed a 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, end time.
