When you visit Sheboygan’s Lakefront, Marina or Harbor, you should stop in at Nine-O-Two. (902)
There is an older crowd of 40’s to 60’s in the afternoons and dinner time. The young folks don’t come in until late and usually only late on Friday or Saturday.
The food is exceptional. Amazing for bar food. I recommend the Hoffbrau (Beef Tenderloin Sandwich on a Hard Roll). It never disappoints. If you need a little more food, try the Mac’N’Cheese with Beef Tenderloin Tips. It’ll fill you up and it’s made with real cheese (not powder cheese).
There is always a 70’s and 80’s Pandora station playing on the sound system, but you can also play the jukebox. I generally hear music I like (at 56 years old) playing on Pandora, but after a few beers I’ll start plugging the jukebox with good blues like Little Feat (live) or Buddy Guy or play some of my old rock and roll.
They have speakers outside, so if you’re eating your food on the sidewalk tables or going outside for a cigarette, you won’t miss the music.
Best tenderloin with the Mac n’ cheese is amazing! You definitely get your moneys worth. The bartenders and staff are great. Usually around noon is an older crowd and as the night progresses, becoming more of a younger crowd. Either way, this place rocks!!
