Public hearing set for March 9: The Town of Lima Board of Supervisors has posted a notice for a public hearing on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lima Town Hall (N3689 County Road I, Sheboygan Falls). The hearing is to take comments on proposed Municipal Code amendments covering mandatory recycling/solid waste separation and fees and charges. Residents can request copies for review through the Town Clerk’s office.
Elections
Spring Primary (if needed) is Tuesday, February 17, 2026: The Town lists polling hours as 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with voting at the Town Hall. For absentee voting, the Town directs residents to use MyVote Wisconsin to request a ballot online, or to call the Town Clerk to make an appointment.

No Town-posted road-closure notices were found on the Town site this week, but if you’re planning travel on rural routes, it’s a good time to double-check conditions before heading out—especially with late-winter weather still in play.
Recycling & garbage
Town of Lima Compactor Site / Recycling Center: The Town lists the site at W2599 Schneider Road. Posted hours are Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. year-round, plus additional Wednesday hours (4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.) from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The page also notes the annual Independence Day closure and points residents to additional recycling resources.
