Specters of the Spotlight Ghost Tour Brings Haunting History to the Weill Center
The Weill Center’s historic halls have always held stories—but some are spookier than others. On Saturday, September 27 at 7:00 PM, the theater was set to host its Specters of the Spotlight Ghost Tour, an immersive 90-minute guided experience exploring the haunted history of this 1928 landmark.
This tour has already sold out, proving just how popular the Weill Center’s paranormal programming has become. Guests lucky enough to secure tickets will step behind the curtain, wandering into backstage spaces rarely seen by the public. From the haunted balcony to the eerie glow of the ghost light on stage, the tour offers both history and mystery. Along the way, guides share chilling tales of past performers, unexplained occurrences, and the theater’s most famous resident spirits.
For those who missed out on September’s event, more opportunities are coming soon. The Weill Center will host additional Halloween-season ghost tours on:
- Thursday, October 30, 3:30–5:00 PM
- Thursday, October 30, 6:00–7:30 PM
- Friday, October 31, 8:00–9:30 PM

Tickets for the October tours are expected to sell out quickly, so those interested should reserve early through the Weill Center Ticket Office at weillcenter.com or by calling (920) 208-3243.
