Nestled among the pines just north of Sheboygan, Majerle’s Black River Grill continues to serve as one of the area’s most iconic supper club experiences. Known for its woodsy setting, hearty portions, and old-fashioned hospitality, this family-run restaurant has been welcoming diners for decades — and their Friday Fish Fry is one of Sheboygan County’s best-loved weekly gatherings.

The Supper Club Experience

Majerle’s blends rustic charm with classic Wisconsin flavor. The dining room feels like stepping into a cabin in the Northwoods, complete with friendly service, generous drinks, and the unmistakable aroma of pan-fried fish and sizzling steaks. Guests can choose from perch, cod, walleye, and shrimp dinners, each served with coleslaw, buttered rye bread, and a choice of potato.

More Than Just Fridays

While the Friday Fish Fry draws a crowd, Majerle’s full menu keeps locals coming back all week long. Favorites include tender prime rib, barbecue ribs, and hand-cut steaks, along with seasonal soups and housemade desserts. Majerle’s Black River Grill is located at 5033 Evergreen Drive, Sheboygan, just off County Road DL near the Black River area. The restaurant opens Tuesday through Sunday at 4:00 p.m., with the kitchen serving dinner into the evening. Reservations are recommended for weekends and holidays.
