Sheboygan Falls School District Places $65.7 Million Referendum on Nov. 3 Ballot

Voters in the School District of Sheboygan Falls will decide a proposed $65.7 million facility referendum on November 3, 2026. The School Board placed the question on the ballot, and the district has scheduled information sessions and school tours before Election Day.
What the referendum would address
According to the district, the proposal would renovate Sheboygan Falls Elementary School and add and renovate space at Sheboygan Falls High School.
District-stated priorities include improving accessibility and safety, addressing aging infrastructure, expanding career and technical education areas, and updating libraries, classrooms, science spaces and student-support areas.
The referendum is a proposal for voters to decide. It is not an approved construction project.

The district estimates a maximum tax impact of $0.16 per $1,000 of property value. Using the district’s example, that would be approximately $16 per year for a home valued at $100,000.
