Sargento Lists September Career-Path Opportunities for Students and Recent Graduates in Plymouth
Plymouth, WI — September 14, 2026. Sargento Foods is directing college students and recent graduates to apply in September for paid internships and co-ops, while also listing school-year production-student opportunities at its Plymouth operations.
The opportunities connect students with work in areas including food science, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, finance, marketing and communications. The programs give Sheboygan County students and families a local option to consider when planning for paid work and career experience.
Internships and co-ops
Sargento’s student-careers page says its internships are paid positions for college and university students and recent graduates. They generally last 10 to 12 weeks and are structured as career-based learning experiences from May through August.
Listed internship areas include food science, food safety and quality, computer science, manufacturing, marketing, sales, finance and accounting, supply chain, trade and demand planning, project management, human resources and communications.
The company also lists paid co-ops lasting seven or 12 months. Those opportunities include engineering, packaging, public relations and supplier quality, with schedules that may run from May through December, May through April or January through December.
Production-student details
Sargento separately lists Production Student positions for high school seniors and college and university students. The employer says those roles generally involve 16 to 24 hours per week, pay $26 or more per hour, and include tuition assistance and flexible scheduling around school.
The page identifies school-year opportunities from September through May for qualifying two-year college and four-year university students ages 18 and older. It also lists a spring-semester pathway for qualifying high school seniors ages 18 and older.
The $26-plus hourly figure applies specifically to the Production Student category and should not be treated as a universal rate for every Sargento student opportunity.
Plymouth connection and how to apply
Sargento identifies its corporate headquarters at One Persnickety Place in Plymouth, in Sheboygan County. The company says the Plymouth site includes corporate offices, manufacturing and trucking operations.
Students should review Sargento’s live job-search system before applying. Individual postings may differ in location, qualifications, schedule and application status, so applicants should compare each listing with their age, enrollment status, field of study and school calendar.
