Lakeland University Adds Transfer Support at Lakeshore College’s Cleveland Campus

Lakeland University announced August 25 that it is expanding its partnership with Lakeshore College by opening a presence at the college’s Cleveland campus. The new location will give students a place to ask about continuing from an associate degree into a bachelor’s program.
The Lakeland location will be in Lakeshore College’s Cedar Building, Office of Student Life, at 1290 North Avenue in Cleveland. Cleveland is outside Sheboygan County, but the partnership has a direct local connection through Lakeland University’s main campus in Plymouth.
Open house planned for September 10
Lakeshore College and Lakeland University will host a community open house on Thursday, September 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A ribbon-cutting and remarks from both college presidents are scheduled for 11 a.m.
The event will give students, families and community members an opportunity to learn more about the new support location and the transfer pathway between the two institutions.
Support for students planning what comes next
Lakeland representatives will be available to discuss bachelor’s-degree transfer planning, admissions guidance, financial-aid and scholarship information, tuition discounts and academic advising.
For Lakeshore students considering a four-year degree, the Cleveland office may provide a convenient way to begin those conversations before deciding on a next step. Students can use the open house to ask how credits may transfer, what application steps are involved and which financial-support options may be available.
The partnership is part of a Lake to Lake transfer pathway connecting Lakeshore College students with Lakeland University’s bachelor’s-degree programs. Lakeland’s Plymouth campus gives Sheboygan County families a nearby local connection to the university.
