Bookworm Gardens opens new Readers’ Roundup storyscape in Sheboygan

Sheboygan, WI — May 19, 2026

Bookworm Gardens at 1415 Campus Drive in Sheboygan has a new reason for families to stop in this season. The attraction opened its 2026 Readers’ Roundup feature, Harvey Potter’s Balloon Farm, during a free Community Day on Saturday, May 16.

The new storyscape was created with Sheboygan County 4-H. According to Bookworm, young people from across the county helped choose the book, brainstorm the design, paint original art pieces, and plant seedlings that became part of the display.

Bookworm’s Community Day also included a ribbon cutting and family-friendly activities, turning the opening into a hands-on kickoff for the garden’s 2026 season.

For Sheboygan families, it is a nearby outing that mixes reading, nature, and local youth involvement. Visitors planning spring and summer stops in the city now have one more kid-friendly attraction to add to the list.
