I-43 moving lane closures planned for May 19 and May 20 in Sheboygan County

Daytime lane work on I-43

WisDOT’s Northeast Wisconsin maintenance schedule lists a moving lane closure on northbound and southbound I-43 between Garton Road and County XX on Tuesday, May 19 and Wednesday, May 20, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. The schedule says the work is weather-dependent and subject to change.

What drivers should expect

The same WisDOT project overview places the resurfacing work in Sheboygan County, from Wilson/Lima Road in the Town of Wilson to WIS 42 in the Town of Sheboygan. The project also passes through the City of Sheboygan and Village of Kohler.

Commuters should plan for slower travel, lane changes, and possible delays during the daytime work window. Allow extra time and check for schedule changes before you leave.
