Hampton Inn Groundbreaking Set for Oct. 22 in Town of Sheboygan

A groundbreaking for a planned Hampton Inn & Suites is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 22, from noon to 1 p.m. at 3950 N. Marquette Circle, according to the Sheboygan County Chamber event listing.

The site is in the Town of Sheboygan, Sheboygan County—not the City of Sheboygan. Although the listing uses Sheboygan as the mailing city, a City of Plymouth room-tax commission packet identifies the planned hotel location as being in the Town of Sheboygan.

The Chamber lists the event as “GROUNDBREAKING: Hampton Inn.” Earlier reporting by the Washington County Insider described the hotel project at the address. The sources reviewed do not confirm that construction has begun, whether the public may attend, or a separate event host. Check with the Chamber or organizer before making plans to attend.
