Sheboygan Sets Five September Zoning Code Comment Opportunities
Sheboygan, WI — September 3, 2026. The City of Sheboygan is opening five September opportunities for residents to comment on potential updates to the city’s zoning code, including housing density, driveways, accessory dwelling units, accessory structures and home occupations.
The sessions are designed to gather public input before any proposed zoning-code changes move through the city’s formal review process. The schedule includes two topic-focused gatherings and three additional opportunities during the SCIO Wednesday Farmers Markets.
September zoning feedback schedule
- September 9: Housing-density discussion at Uptown Social from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- September 16: Public-engagement opportunity during the SCIO Wednesday Farmers Market at Fountain Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- September 17: Accessory-dwelling-unit discussion at Tributary Beer Garden from 5 to 7 p.m.
- September 23: Public-engagement opportunity during the SCIO Wednesday Farmers Market at Fountain Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- September 30: Public-engagement opportunity during the SCIO Wednesday Farmers Market at Fountain Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The city’s available schedule identifies the housing-density and accessory-dwelling-unit topics for the first two named sessions. It does not assign individual topics to the September 16, 23 or 30 Fountain Park opportunities, so residents should not assume which subject will be discussed on a particular market date.
