What changed at the pump
AAA lists regular gasoline at an average of $3.7467 per gallon in the Sheboygan metro. That is down 6.4 cents from the previous day, 13.72 cents from the prior week and 24.47 cents from the prior month. The average is also about 75 cents lower than a year ago.
Compared with the last Sheboygan Life fuel-price check around August 24, regular gas has dropped from approximately $3.88 per gallon. The latest Sheboygan figure is about 8.1 cents below AAA’s Wisconsin average of $3.8274 and about 33.4 cents below the national average of $4.0807.
Diesel remains the pressure point
Diesel is averaging $5.3190 per gallon in the Sheboygan metro. The price rose 1.48 cents from the previous day, although it is down 2.95 cents from last week. Diesel is up 29.56 cents from the prior month and about $1.91 higher than a year ago.
