What the change means locally
For Sheboygan County commuters and families, the small week-to-week decline in regular gas may offer limited relief at the pump. Drivers planning weekend trips should compare station prices before filling up because individual locations can differ from the metro average.
The diesel increase may be more noticeable for commercial drivers, delivery operators, farm businesses and other organizations that use larger amounts of diesel fuel. It can also add pressure to travel and operating budgets for local businesses. This update does not identify a specific cause for the price movement.
AAA’s figures represent averages for the Sheboygan metro market, not guaranteed prices at every station. The organization lists the data as of August 20, 2026, and pump prices can change during the day.
