Wisconsin DNR updated its PM2.5 wildfire-smoke air-quality forecast Monday, July 20, at 9:30 a.m. The DNR Air Quality Advisory is in effect until noon Monday statewide, and DNR says it may extend for portions of eastern Wisconsin through 6 p.m. this evening.

DNR says PM2.5 levels are expected to reach Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (Orange) to Unhealthy (Red) during the advisory window.

The NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan Air Quality Advisory product lists Sheboygan County with an advisory window of until 6 p.m. Monday. The NWS also notes smoke is clearing northwest to southeast, and continual clearing plus storm activity should diminish advisory-level smoke by 6 p.m. That means Monday outdoor plans may need adjustments through the early evening.
