City of Sheboygan residents, heads-up! Due to both Christmas and New Year’s Day landing on Wednesdays, your garbage and recycling schedules will shift for two consecutive holiday weeks. Regular Monday and Tuesday pickups will not be affected. However, Wednesday’s collections for both holiday weeks will take place on Thursday. Likewise, Thursday’s routes will move to Friday, and Friday’s usual pickups will happen on Saturday.
If you typically rely on the New Jersey Avenue Recycling Center, please note the facility will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the following Saturday, December 28th. The same closure pattern will repeat during New Year’s week, shutting down the center on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, and Saturday, January 4th.
