Democrat Mitchell Berman won Wisconsin's 1st Congressional District, defeating Republican U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil, according to the Associated Press. The result flips the southeastern Wisconsin seat to Democrats.
Decision Desk HQ's 12:05 a.m. Central returns showed Berman with 153,079 votes, or 52.30%, to Steil's 139,637, or 47.70%, with 92% reporting. DDHQ called the race at 12:05 a.m.; Berman led by 13,442 votes in that snapshot.
