Rain and Patchy Fog Could Affect Sheboygan County Travel Thursday, Oct. 1
Sheboygan County, Wisconsin — October 1, 2026
Rain and patchy fog could make Thursday morning travel wet across Sheboygan County. In a 5:33 a.m. CDT Thursday, October 1, outlook, the National Weather Service’s Milwaukee/Sullivan office said areas of fog were expected through early morning as moderate to heavy rain continued.
The outlook says urban and small-stream flooding is possible in parts of its broader coverage area, with 1 to 3 inches of rain possible, especially along a line from Lone Rock to Port Washington. This is an outlook describing possible conditions—not a Sheboygan County flood warning or a prediction that flooding will occur countywide.
For the Sheboygan area, WHBL reported at 4:50 a.m. that an inch or more could fall before rain winds down late Thursday afternoon. WHBL’s report characterized flooding as not likely locally. The NWS Sheboygan County forecast, updated at 4:30 a.m., also called for showers and patchy fog; a Sheboygan County Memorial Airport observation updated at 5:53 a.m. reported rain and fog.
