Dense Fog Advisory Covers Sheboygan-to-Port Washington Waters Until 7 a.m. Oct. 13

Sheboygan, WI — October 13, 2026

A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 7 a.m. CDT Tuesday for Lake Michigan nearshore waters from Sheboygan to Port Washington. The National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan issued the alert at 4:51 a.m. CDT.

Visibility may fall below one mile in spots, making navigation difficult. The advisory covers marine zone LMZ643; it is not a general road-travel warning.

Boating precautions

The NWS advises anyone who must navigate to proceed cautiously, use proper fog signals, turn on running lights, and use radar and a compass. Check the latest alert before departure.
