Sheboygan Nonprofit Offers a Dose of Hope with Annual Fundraiser
Lighthouse Recovery Community Center’s Biggest Event Enters Its 8th Year
SHEBOYGAN, WI โ October 2, 2025 โ Lighthouse Recovery Community Center is gearing up for its biggest event of the year on Friday, November 7th, from 4 pmโ8 pm at Lakeshore College’s Centennial Hall (1290 North Ave, Cleveland, WI). For eight years, the Dose of Hope Stigma Reduction and Awareness Fundraiser has brought the community together to raise awareness and funds to help Lighthouse continue to provide its services free of charge to anyone on their recovery journey.
“This event is the heart of what we do at Lighthouse,” said Ian Schebel, Outreach and Development Specialist for Lighthouse Recovery Community Center in Sheboygan. “For eight years, our community has shown up to support individuals and families affected by addiction. The funds raised at Dose of Hope allow us to keep our doors open and our services free, ensuring that anyone seeking recovery can find hope, support, and a path forward.”
The Dose of Hope event educates the community about Lighthouse’s mission, services, and the population it serves while also providing critical financial support. The evening features raffle baskets, guest speakers, live music, a silent auction, delicious food and drink, an art gallery, and the announcement of the Recovery Ally Awards. The art gallery will showcase works from Lighthouse peers, community members, and local artists.

About LRCC
With roots in Manitowoc and officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Lighthouse Recovery Community Center opened its first center in 2018. In 2021, after recognizing the need from the community, they opened a second location in Sheboygan. Now serving both Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties, Lighthouse’s philosophy is that everyone deserves to feel safe, empowered, and not alone on their recovery journey, no matter the substance. That philosophy also extends to friends, families, and loved ones affected by substance use disorder.
