City of Sheboygan posts absentee voting dates ahead of Aug. 11 primary
City of Sheboygan voters now have a clear window for in-person absentee voting before the Aug. 11, 2026 partisan primary. The city says absentee voting will be available July 28-30 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., July 31 from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Aug. 3-6 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Aug. 7 from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Registration on Aug. 7 is available by appointment only until 5 p.m.
The voting site is the City Clerk’s Office at 828 Center Avenue in Sheboygan, entering on the north side of City Hall. For residents who already have a completed absentee ballot, the city also lists a ballot drop box at the Mead Public Library drive-thru parking lot, 710 N. 8th Street.
Ballots may also be mailed or delivered to the City Clerk’s Office, but they must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day. The city’s absentee-ballot guidance also says any registered voter may request to vote absentee, which gives people a simple way to avoid Election Day lines or fit voting around work and family schedules.
This update applies to City of Sheboygan voters planning for the Aug. 11 primary. Residents who need a ballot or want to confirm the return rules should review the city’s voter information and absentee ballot request pages before heading downtown.
