A midweek crash near Plymouth triggered a temporary traffic and utility disruption that could affect Town of Plymouth residents who commute through the area. WHBL reported an overturned dump truck against power lines about a quarter-mile east of WIS 57 on County Highway PP, with westbound lanes closed at Willow Road and reports of power interruptions reaching as far west as the Kettle Moraine area. The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office was not able to provide a report at the time of WHBL’s update.
Public Safety
Mutual aid responses remained busy across Sheboygan County. WBAY reported a Thursday house fire on Mulberry Drive in the Village of Waldo, with multiple 911 calls coming in around 11:30 a.m. Deputies said the garage was engulfed and the fire was starting to spread to the home; nobody was inside, and the cause remains under investigation. The response included a long list of departments, including the Plymouth Fire Department alongside other area agencies.
Schools (Plymouth School District)
Plymouth School District families in the Town of Plymouth can use the district calendar as a quick check on upcoming schedule markers. The district lists Friday, February 20 as a no-school day (conference comp). Looking ahead, Friday, March 6 is noted as the end of the 2nd trimester.
