The County is looking for a registered nurse or physician to serve on the Health & Human Services Committee for a three-year term. Public safety
Large multi-agency response to a house fire in Waldo. WBAY reports that more than a dozen fire departments responded Thursday (Feb. 19) to a house fire on Mulberry Drive in the Village of Waldo. The Sheriff’s Office said deputies found a garage fully involved and spreading toward the home; the cause remains under investigation. The response included both the City of Sheboygan Falls Fire Department and the Town of Sheboygan Falls Fire Department, along with multiple other county departments and Orange Cross Ambulance.
Schools (Sheboygan Falls Falcons)
Girls basketball: Sheboygan Falls edged Valders, 49-48. MaxPreps’ game recap (Feb. 17) highlights a one-point win over Valders to extend a winning streak at the time of the report. If you follow the Falcons closely, it’s worth checking the school’s official athletics communications for schedule changes and postseason updates as the winter sports season wraps up.
Community events (nearby, open to Sheboygan Falls residents)
Family Adventure Days at Sheboygan County Museum. The Museum held a February drop-in day (Feb. 14) with hands-on activities and short Taylor House tours.
