Tax incremental districts on the agenda

A Joint Review Board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 26 to consider resolutions approving the creation of Tax Incremental District (TID) No. 9 and TID No. 10 in the City of Plymouth. The posted agenda also notes a review of the public record, planning documents, and related actions taken by the Plan Commission and Common Council.

Library expansion planning continues

Plymouth’s Ad Hoc Library Repair, Renovation, and Expansion Committee met Thursday, Feb. 19 at the Plymouth Public Library. The agenda included continued discussion with Somerville Architects on the library project, plus approval of prior meeting minutes.

Public safety

Fire chief interview process

The Plymouth Police & Fire Commission met Tuesday, Feb. 17 with a posted agenda that included a closed session for fire department chief interviews, followed by an open-session discussion on which candidates move forward and the time/date for next interviews.

Schools (Plymouth School District)

Plymouth School District’s calendar and announcements note Friday, Feb. 20 as a no-school day (conference comp). The district also lists community-facing events on Feb. 20, including a Wisconsin Singers performance with Momentum at the PHS Auditorium and a home boys basketball night (including ‘Youth Night’ and Pep Band).

Roads and transportation

Drivers who use Highway 57 north of Plymouth may want to keep an eye on long-range planning: TMJ4 reports that WisDOT has announced plans to construct a roundabout at the Highway 57 and County Road J intersection as part of a broader Highway 57 project. Elections and civic info

The City of Plymouth’s voter information page lists the 2026 election calendar and reiterates that the City has one polling location at Plymouth City Hall (128 Smith St.), with polls open 7 AM to 8 PM on Election Day. It also lists in-person absentee voting windows and directs voters to MyVote Wisconsin for sample ballots.
