- Winter parking: Overnight parking is not allowed on Village streets from 2–6 am during the winter period (Dec. 1–Apr. 1). Public notices note tickets at $20.
- Dog licenses: Due March 31. Fees vary by spay/neuter status, and rabies proof is required.
Road work watch
Looking ahead, the Village has posted a short list of Street Projects 2026 for planning awareness. The list includes repaving on S 11th St, Zuider Lane, and South Ave, plus utilities on N Heritage Dr. If you travel those corridors, watch for future updates, including additional notices and on-street signage once schedules are released.
Schools
The Oostburg School District School Board page includes election-related notices for Spring 2026 and also states the district’s regular monthly meeting cadence: the third Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm in the Oostburg High School Innovation Room (410 New York Ave). Based on that published schedule, the February regular meeting date would fall on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026.
