School District Calendar Updates
Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah School District families are heading into a busy stretch to close out the third quarter. According to the district calendar, Thursday, March 19 marks the end of the third quarter. There will be no school on Friday, March 20 due to an all-staff professional development day.
Spring Break is scheduled for Monday, March 30 through Friday, April 3. Families planning travel or childcare should note those dates as the quarter wraps up.
Resorters in WIAA Tournament Play
Postseason basketball is underway. On Tuesday, March 3, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah hosted Wausaukee in a WIAA boys basketball regional quarterfinal matchup. The game was part of the statewide regional schedule and brought playoff energy to the Resorters home court.
With tournament season in full swing, additional regional and sectional matchups are expected across the coming week depending on results. Community members are encouraged to check official WIAA brackets and school communications for updated game times and locations.
Middle School Athletics and Activities
The week of March 5 also featured a range of middle and high school activities. On Thursday, March 5, the middle school girls volleyball team faced Oostburg at the Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Middle School gym.
Looking ahead, Sunday, March 8 includes community use of school facilities, with open gym times scheduled in the high school gym and an event in the auditorium. On Monday and Tuesday, March 9 and 10, middle school wrestling and volleyball events are scheduled, including meets at Oostburg and Random Lake as well as a home volleyball matchup against Howards Grove.
High school juniors are also set to take the ACT on Tuesday, March 10, a key milestone in the academic calendar.
Looking Ahead
As March continues, residents can expect a mix of academic milestones, postseason athletics, and community use of school facilities. With spring break approaching at the end of the month, this is a transition period for students, families, and staff.
