Water meter replacement program underway. The Village of Cedar Grove Water Department says it began implementing a multi-year water meter replacement program on Feb. 2, with appointments scheduled during weekday office hours. Residents who need to reschedule are asked to call the Village Office.
Next Village Board meeting posted. The Village bulletin board lists the next Village Board meeting as Monday, March 9, 2026, and notes that the agenda will be posted on the village site under the Meeting Agenda & Minutes tab.
Road work + transportation
WIS 32 project status (Cedar Grove to Sheboygan Falls). WisDOT’s 511 construction project page for WIS 32 says the roadway has reopened and the detour has been removed, with the site remaining online for reference. The project description also notes curb ramp work in Cedar Grove as part of the improvements corridor.
Schools (Cedar Grove-Belgium)
Basketball milestones and a home win. Ozaukee Press reported Cedar Grove-Belgium players Owen Gulke and Carter Schmitz reached major career scoring milestones in a home victory.
Recent area scores that included CGB. Seehafer News’ Feb. 13 score roundup included Cedar Grove-Belgium results for both girls and boys basketball.
Public safety
Mutual aid response included Cedar Grove Fire Department. WBAY reports Cedar Grove Fire Department assisted at a Feb. 19 house/garage fire in the Village of Waldo, alongside multiple Sheboygan County agencies. The cause was under investigation at the time of the report.
