Sheboygan, WI gas dips under $4 on June 5, diesel eases but stays above $5.40
Sheboygan, WI — June 5, 2026.
What changed at the pump
AAA’s June 5 Sheboygan metro check shows regular gas at $3.965 and diesel at $5.473. Regular gas is back under $4 and is down 15.4 cents from the last Sheboygan Life check on June 1, when it was $4.119. Diesel also eased, falling 22.4 cents from $5.697.
Week over week, regular gas is down 31.4 cents from $4.279, and diesel is down 28.3 cents from $5.756. The local trend matches the broader AAA easing seen in its June 4 national note, which said the U.S. regular-gas average fell 18 cents in a week.
Diesel is still the tighter squeeze
Even after the drop, diesel is still above $5.40 and remains above Wisconsin’s $5.352 average and the EIA’s latest U.S. on-highway diesel average of $5.350. That keeps pressure on contractors, delivery fleets, farm trucks and other heavy-use drivers, even as regular-gas fill-ups get a little easier for commuters and school-run families.
What local drivers should watch
For weekend travelers, restaurant deliveries and people heading to local events, the key question is whether stations keep following the lower trend or whether pump-to-pump spreads widen again. A sub-$4 regular price can trim short-trip costs, but diesel buyers will still want to compare before filling a tank.
