Fuel costs moved in different directions for Sheboygan County-area drivers on Monday, September 21, according to AAA’s Sheboygan metro averages. Regular gasoline eased slightly to $4.4330 per gallon, while diesel climbed to $6.5694 per gallon—a new AAA-recorded high for the local metro market.
Regular gas remains well above earlier comparison points
AAA’s September 21 table shows regular gasoline down about 2.01 cents from the previous day. Even with that small dip, the average was about 38.18 cents higher than one week earlier, roughly 51 cents higher than one month earlier, and about $1.5427 above the September 21, 2025 comparison point.
Diesel moved higher across every comparison window supplied by AAA. The September 21 average was up about 3.32 cents from the previous day, 55.34 cents from one week earlier, $1.2628 from one month earlier, and $3.0931 from one year earlier.
